Though bought refurbished, this product came as it was new. All items that were supposed to be there were. It worked right out of the box as advertised. Connecting to a PC was also easy. The next few times, however, it took it 15 minutes or more. Finally, it would not get a signal at all. Otherwise, we loved it when it got a satellite signal. Tomtom customer service gladly updated our maps for free given it was a refurbished unit. We just had to show proof of purchase. I sent it back in and just asked for a replacement to Amazon and had no problems whatsoever. I'm just thinking we happened upon a lemon. I would have given it 5 stars had it not had the signal issue.
